I have been bowling since my mother began teaching me at the age of six. I have had many bowling equipment operators punch holes in balls for me. After experiencing Dave’s talent I now know there’s a difference. Let me explain. When I recently bowled in the PBA regional that came to Oak Ridge bowling center, I had the benefit of bowling with Ronnie Horton. He currently is in the top 5 in the RPI rankings. After completing the 8 game set, he pulled me aside and told me he wanted to talk to me. He told me that I threw the ball very well but, my equipment was holding me back. I talked to him and we were joined by Lee Vanderhoef, and Chris Collins. They all agreed that my bowling ball was drilled incorrectly. I then showed them my other ball that was drilled by someone different than the first and they also agreed that to was drilled wrong. Then I asked who in this region I could go to get my balls drilled. All three emphatically pointed to Lamberts Pro Shop. Dave has many years of experience with working with and drilling equipment for the PBA. He is current on TODAYS technology. He has made a difference in my game and given me the ability to get better. I am grateful for meeting him and look forward to continuing doing business with him. Thanks Dave for putting the properly drilled equipment in my hand. The 300 was awesome.
I talked with Dave when it was time for me to get a new bowling ball. My past 5 bowling balls had all been Columbia. With each new ball I got over the years, it seemed to only be a tiny bit better than the ball it replaced. I had your basic down and in shot, usually having to stand in the right corner to get the ball to move. Dave saw how my ball rolls and I told him how I would like to roll. I put it all in his hands. Dave picked out my new ball, a Hammer Black Widow Venom, and a new drill pattern. I could see the improvement the very first time I threw it. This ball has a significant movement improvement. I can actually stand a little inside if I want to, and I don’t have to try so hard to make it hook. I averaged 201 for the first 8 weeks of league before this ball and I am now averaging 219 for the past 8 weeks starting when I got this ball.
Without a doubt, Dave has a talent for matching up the bowler with the right ball and drilling.
